Challenged Athletes Foundation
Join me in supporting CAF!
Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) has become an important part of David's life. CAF clinics, events, and mentors have shown David that the sky is the limit. David completed his first 3 kids triathlons last summer, and won 12 gold metals at the National Junior Disability Championships (NJDC). David plans to complete the 1.2 mile swim portion of the upcoming San Diego Triathlon Challenge in order to raise funds for CAF.
David is helping to support the CAF, an incredible 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides funding and inspiration to hundreds of physically challenged athletes each year so they can participate, compete, and live life to the fullest. By donating, you help David's fund-raising efforts, and together we can help people with physical challenges realize their dreams.
The donations that are made in David's honor will help support athletes who can't always "get to the starting line" because of missing or paralyzed limbs. CAF provides paraplegics with hand-cycles, and limb deficient bikers and runners with artificial limbs. Challenged athletes want to participate in athletics and feel the rush of competition. The major obstacle they face is the high cost of the equipment necessary for them to compete. They have the desire, skills and fitness to compete and with your help they will also have the equipment that makes participation possible.
High tech running prosthetics and hand cycles are very expensive. With our help, challenged athletes can bridge the financial gap and overcome funding obstacles blocking their path to athletic achievement. The Challenged Athletes Foundation has been inspirational to David and provided him with the confidence to succeed in athletic endeavors. Please partner with us by making a donation, and help David bring hope to other challenged athletes.
